Weekly Cheek-in #14
1. What has your team accomplished?
This week, the last week before exhibition week Araya has finished all of the Adobe Illustrator work, so that the team could cut out the captions and the eggs. She has also helped mend the captions to the center counsel and contributed toward constricting. Araya has also accomplished making a cheek list of the things that are done and the things that need to get done, so as not to forget the important parts. This cheek list has hopefully helped organize the team and helped them see the finish line, when things can get pretty messy in the midst of it all.
2. What is your team currently working on?
Araya, Amber and Sierra are currently working on the second cylinder. Once we obtain the center dowel that supports the whole cylinder, then we can finish up all that falls behind that.
3. What are your team's plans for the next week?
The things that Araya, Amber and Sierra need to do next week are to place the dividers in the center dowel, then hot glue gun the eggs to it. Once this is all completed we can move forward and staple the plastic around on both of the cylinders. Then I (Araya) need to make sure that we have the blue tape on both cylinders, the blue tape will be different sizes, one representing a oval (egg), and the other will be in a rectangle shape (captions). Once this is completed then we need to spray paint both cylinders black. Once we do this its just a matter of placing the two cylinders on either side f the center consul, and then focusing on the circuitry.
5.Do you see any obstacles that may prevent your team from completing their project on time?
At this point in the project we are at a pretty good place, however, the only thing that would prohibit us from completing this project by Tuesday, is the circuity. It is about 50% of the 'cool' factor in our project. What I mean by that is that is if it gets done correctly, the way the we designed it to then it will make it an awesome project that we are all exited for. However, if it doesn't end up getting done then the project, is below mediocre and the purpose is striped from us. The purpose to make kids learn, and understand the development of a fertilized chicken embryo. Therefor we hope that the circuity will be complete.
